It has been decided that my best friend and I will be taking a road trip this summer around the western/central United States. We'll have two weeks to take in as many sites as possible. As much as both of us have travelled around the United States many times before, there are still some classic landmarks that we have not spent nearly enough time around. We've made a list of the ten sites that interest us the most:

02. "Alcatraz" - San Francisco, California
03. San Diego Zoo - San Diego, California
04. The Salton Sea - California/ Arizona
05. Las Vegas - Nevada
06. The Grand Canyon - Arizona
07. Roswell - New Mexico
08. Ghost Towns/ Mining Camps - Colorado
09. "Mt. Rushmore" - Keystone, South Dakota
10. Yellowstone National Park - Wyoming
Over the next couple months I will be looking in to travel routes, places to stay, and specific stops to make in between the main landmarks.
